Synopsis

Mael Salach talks about love and glory and killing all mortals with the help of Focii and you learn what it all means as a Tuath'de. Their love is not the same as mortal love. Killing him "saves" Scatheran Forest" for the time being. Oh, and you get to kill Fionn again because that's who they're trying to bring back from the dead.

Instance Text

Entrance
Mael Salach: You pitiful, loveless creatures.
Mael Salach: Your struggles have delayed my victory over these mewling Fora.
Mael Salach: Whad do you hope to accomplish in this doomed forest?
Mael Salach: It has been taken up by Ahnket.
Mael Salach: Forever removed from the hated Amber throne.
Mael Salach: Even if you defeat me, this comet is on a path to destruction.
Mael Salach: I have paid the tithe to flame. I have seen the prophecy.
Mael Salach: Abandon your heroics. Leave me to my great work.
Mael Salach: I will grow you a domain upon the new world tree.
Shyla: The Ascended does not bargain with demons.
Shyla: They have defeated the Blood Storm, they have vanquished the Akvan.
Shyla: Your Queen Una and the Tower will be stopped like all the rest.

On Fearsome Intro
Mael Salach: Loveless, false, wretched, mortals!
Mael Salach: From your blood I will conjure the foulest pestilence!
Mael Salach: Feargas, my champion! You have my love!
Mael Salach: Become my foci! Destroy these mortals and complete the spell!
Feargas: As you command General! I give my immortality upon your altar!
Feargas: Complete the bargain! Bring forth our beloved lord!

On Fearsome Combat
Fearsome: Kill!
Fearsome: Kill for love!
Fearsome: Kill for glory!
Fearsome: Kill for Mael Salach!
Fearsome: Kill for Tuath'de glory!

On Fearsome Combat End
Tasuil: What horrible magic was that?
Shyla: Mael Salach's champion was the foci of a spell.
Shyla He let himself be consumed by his inner demons, to work Mael Salach's will.
Tasuil: How?
Shyla: The Tuath'de take, Tasuil. Their love is not unconditional.
Shyla: Without another to sacrifice they will take from their own.
Tasuil: So even if we save the Fora and the Unicorns, the Tuath'de remain a threat?
Shyla: First we save this Forest, and our new friends.
Shyla: Then we find the next soul that needs us.

On Mael Salach Intro
Mael Salach: You have killed all those that pledged their love to me.
Mael Salach: Still you must face me in a place of my greatest power!
Mael Salach: I have failed the Queen and lost her love.
Mael Salach: I will use all the power I gained to destroy you instead!

On Mael Salach Combat
Mael Salach: Bleed for me Ascended!
Mael Salach: Once I fell you, your dragon will be my prize!
Mael Salach: The ritual is almost complete!
Tasuil: I am no prize to bleed on your madstone!
Tasuil: We will make you pay for what you have done to my friends in Scatherran!
Mael Salach: [%name%], I curse you with the power of my Alicorn!
Shyla: We are the vengeance of Telara, Mael Salach!
Shyla: We are the wrath of the Vigil! Repent your many sins and beg for their mercy!

On Mael Salach Combat End
Mael Salach: No! My power! Ahnket you promised me victory!
Ahnket: I promised to deliver unto you what I have taken.
Ahnket: The magic of your Queen Una seems to have a curious hold upon my soul.
Ahnket: Here, let your last glimpse be that of your lord.
Ahnket: Take him, in all his glory. I can make more if I need.

On Lord Fionn Combat
Lord Fionn: What's this? I have returned!
Lord Fionn: My sojourn upon that star has ended.
Lord Fionn: I remember... a library of souls.
Lord Fionn: We danced in the whim of a dead god.
Lord Fionn: We recited poetry written by numbers.
Lord Fionn: But who is this? A mortal.
Lord Fionn: Not unlike the ones that consigned me to that fate!
Lord Fionn: I shall finish you off, then tell the Queen what secretes the tower holds.
Lord Fionn: Together we shall remake a Tuath'de home with Telara's blood.
Lord Fionn: I need no reason to mark you for death mortal.
Lord Fionn: Your very existence offends me!
Lord Fionn: You and your kind hold no love from me.

On Lord Fionn Combat End
Lord Fionn: No! How? I had such plans. So many lovely schemes!
Ahnket: I wish to thank you Ascended, and your companions.
Ahnket: Each Tenebrean feeds on a unique aspect of a Cosmos.
Ahnket: I make careful study of cultures of each world I find.
Ahnket: And then feed as their endeavors fall to ruin.
Ahnket: I had thought to merely snack upon the last gasp of Fora and Unicorn resistance to the Tuath'de.
Ahnket: But you just toppled the schemes of Mael Salach and his Tuath'de.
Ahnket: I am invigorated!
Ahnket: If you would take my advice, go no further.
Ahnket: Live out the time you have left in this idyllic forest surrounded by friends.
Ahnket: I have no wish to see you suffer.
Tasuil: No! We will defend our world! We will save our friends in the planes!
Shyla: The Vigil teach us to forgive our enemies, but never to fall to sloth or complacency against evil.
Shyla: That you would harm so many, for so long to maintain your evil, how can I not fight?
Ahnket: *wry laugh* Righteousness is a stance for mortals and their tiny lives.
Ahnket: When the end comes, I will add you to my collection.
Ahnket: We will see how your holy fire cools in the eternity of time.
Ahnket: May you know only joy until the fall, Ascended.
