Rift PTS datamining – Autumn Harvest 2020

Autumn harvest 2020 has been patched to PTS today (October 13, 2020), bringing a new set of wings, 2 new mounts and a bunch of new icons for “Planar Champion” gear. 119 total new icons. On top of new Zone areas. You read that right. Let’s dive in.

New Autumn Harvest assets
Let’s get to the next thing to likely come, the new Autumn harvest assets. Looks like we are getting an Egyptian theme this year. Icons first, then model pics.

New Planar Champion Armor Icons
The Planar Champion gear appears to be a new set that we will be working on in an upcoming patch. No ETA or further details are known right now. All that is clear is that we will be getting new sets, one for each of the 6 elements PLUS Nightmare. With the icons below, you can see there are also “hybrid” elements where 2 are mixed.

New Synergy Crystal Icons
Oh yeah, new Synergy Crystals as well. At least the data heavily suggests these are new Synergy Crystals. These also appear to follow an upgrade path and may have hybrid crystals.

New Planar Champion Cape textures
New planar champion capes. The flames ones appear to have a glowing effect as well! In order, these are “Steam”, “Fire”, and “Ember”.

New Factions and planar champion advancement details
Ok, details on the Planar Champion stuff and what appears to be 7 new factions.

First, the factions. There are 7 in total, and data suggests there is a daily quest associated with each faction.

The Order of Aer (Air)
The Order of Ignis (Fire)
The Order of Aquas (Water)
The Order of Solum (Earth)
The Order of Mors (Death)
The Order of Anima (Life)
The Order of Insomnuim (Nightmare)

There are 6 sets of synergy crystals, there appear to be 2 per element. One curiously doesn’t sound associated with an element.

Aer Crystal (Air)
Hurricane Crystal (Air)
Ignis Crystal (Fire)
Fume Crystal(Fire)
Aquas Crystal (Water)
Deflagration Crystal (Water)
Solum Crystal (Earth)
Sandstorm Crystal (Earth)
Mors Crystal (Death)
Twilight Crystal (Death)
Anima Crystal (Life)
Wilderness Crystal(Life)
Hero’s Crystal (no element?)

Crystals have the following prefixes. These likely map to the icons above, and represent progression. These are (in no specific order):

Fractured
Unrefined
Pure
Attuned
Hybrid
Exalted

Similarly, the planar armor/jewelry also has prefixes that represent progression. There are 2 this time though. Again, in no particular order:

Great
Mighty

It is not immediately clear how the naming progression will work here, so it will be interesting to see what we get when this goes live.

New Planetouched Wilds section: “Rock of the Sky”
Finally, there is a new area in Planetouched Wilds called “Rock of the Sky”. This appears to be in the southwest section of the zone, and will be accessible via Porticulum. Pics below taken using TelaraFly.
