Rift PTS Datamining – March 18, 2019 – Carnival Mounts!

Carnival of the Ascended is around the corner, starting March 21st! However, we’ve datamined the mounts and 2 store goodies. Let’s take a look!

New Carnival Mounts
Thanks to our resident datamining guru imathrowback, we have 5 brand new Carnival mounts fully to show off today (in addition to the budgie mount from the previous post). 2 new elephant mounts, and 3 new racing snails.

Carnival Store Features
In addition to this, a new earring for Carnival has been spotted on PTS. Thank you to Keepro and Holyroller for pointing this out. Costs 3 Prophetic Amenders to upgrade. The upgraded version has a rather bizzare ilvl of 5545, easily making it Best in Slot. By comparison, all T2 raid gear in game upgrades to ilvl 5050.

UPDATE!
Earring is ilvl 4995 before being upgrade. Before quality adjustments are taken into account, the 2019 earring is a 10% ilvl increase over the 2018 earring, with 2019 earring’s upgrade being a further 10% ilvl increase. This explains the bizzare ilvl.

Finally, 2 last pieces. First, you can get the White racing snail mount (pictured above) with the purchase of a $100 credit pack during carnival. This applies to ALL characters on your account. Here’s the purchase description:

“Unlock the White Shelled Racing Snail mount on all characters on your account with your first purchase of a $99.99, €99.99 or £76.49 credit pack. “

Second, it LOOKS like Loyalty gained from ALL sources will be multiplied by 4 during the Carnival. If you value Loyalty, carnival will be a very good time to accrue it.
