Rift Community + Dev Spotlight
Haven’t done one of these in a long while. Lots of discussions occur on the Rift forums every day, with plenty of dev responses, and today I attempt to capture some of the more important pieces discussed. In addition to this, multiple community projects come up, and are shared throughout.
Community Spotlight
- Madarablackgetsuga has started a youtube channel to show off his Rift exploits. He has also started a Tuskar mount giveaway! He has provided details for the giveaway on the forums here.
- Seshatar has an unboxing of a special package from Trion. The VOD is up on his Twitch channel, go check it out!
- Kiwi has started a new thread on the forums dedicated to sharing the variety of Dimensions that are proudly displayed on the Rift Community Discord. Go check it out if you’re interested in seeing what is being shared.
Dev Spotlight
- Amber “Gingers” Alexander has left Trion for new opportunities. I wish her the best in her new adventures. Gingers, if you’re reading this, thank you for all of the support you have shown The Ghar Station since I started this site back in the fall.
- Further class balance changes have arrived on PTS. It is my understanding that most of the changes over there are scheduled to go live next week, though that could very well be pushed off. Remember to provide feedback in the official feedback thread!
- The Windows 10 creator update broke Glyph for some players. Guidelines for a temporary fix have been provided on the forums.
- The Friday, April 28th live stream will now start at 11:30am PST. Going forward, this is the new planned time for Rift live streams. This live stream is focusing on the creator program and forum moderation.
